What do we do?

ESCVYS is an independent organisation providing a specialist voice for the voluntary and community sector working with children and young people in East Sussex.  

We provide:

• representation mechanisms for the Children's Trust
• regular email updates around policy, training, funding and sector news
• a support service around developing the appropriate policies and procedures
• networking opportunities for members
• forum events on relevant topics i.e. extended schools and Every Child Matters
• a point of referral between colleagues working with children and young people in East Sussex
• consultation on relevant voluntary and community sector issues
