Childcare Sufficiency Assessment

From April 2008, local authorities have a duty to secure sufficient childcare for parents in their area who are in work, education or training for work. In preparation for this duty, a detailed assessment of the supply of, and demand for, childcare in East Sussex has taken place.

East Sussex County Council are very keen to hear your views on the supply and demand for childcare in East Sussex. So please read the attached assessment summary and send us your comments. Comments need to be returned by 10 March 2008. If you are also a parent and wish to respond with both your work and personal comments please complete 2 separate feedback forms.
