Impact Group

ESCVYS set up the Impact Group in 2006 to provide closer links between the voluntary and community youth sector in East Sussex and East Sussex County Council.

The group, which is made up of representatives from the sector, meets four times a year, with the Director of Children’s Services at East Sussex County Council attending twice a year.

The purpose of the group is to help the voluntary and statutory sector work together to provide the best possible support and services for children and young people in East Sussex.

The forum is used to discuss funding, opportunities for the sector and any issues raised by the members of the group.

Current members include Action in Rural Sussex, Beat Youth Sports Club, Care for the Carers, East Sussex YMCAs, Home Start, Vinvolved and the Wishing Well Trust.
