Young People Big Vote

The Youth Particpation team at the County Council have asked ESCVYS to draw your attention to this year’s Big Vote! 09 and ask that you assist them to promote and encourage young people to stand as candidates or vote during the upcoming elections in November.

The elections will produce a new youth cabinet for East Sussex/and members of the UK Youth Parliament which represents the youth voice nationally.  The elections will be held in all schools including special schools and pupil referral units and in participating youth centres, during the two weeks of 23rd November to 4th December.

Any young person who wants to stand as a candidate is invited to contact the Youth Participation team by phone or text before 16th October 2009.
