New BME YDS Support group

This group aims to build upon the success of the TEEX (To Ethnic for East Sussex) group that ran a couple of years ago in the west of the county. Initially, the intention is to start a group in Eastbourne that could also draw in young people from the surrounding rural area of Wealden.


CAMHS Referral Sheet

The CAMHS service will now happily take CAFs as part of referrals if accompanied by their referral front-sheet.

Tackling Climate Change

Please find attached details of a local climate change conference on 24 April.  The event is free to members of ESSP and there are 10 places reserved for ESSP members.

Participation Works South East Annual Conference

Thursday 3 April 2008 HG Wells Centre Woking 

Free to the VCS this is the opportunity of the year to meet with colleagues who work locally, look at good practice, make excellent new contacts, hear inspirational contacts, try out new media techniques, and learn practical participation skills in an interactive environment.


Briefing on rural migrant children, young people and families

The Speaking Out team at NCVCCO/NCVYS is writing a briefing on migrant children, young people and families living in rural areas of England and would like to hear from organisations working on these issues. The briefing will promote examples of good practice from voluntary and community sector children and youth organisations.


Aiming High Free Regional Event

SEYP are holding a free regional event on the Aiming High – Positive Activities ‘Things to do and Places to go’ (Section 6 of the Education Act). 

The event will take place on March 13th 2008 at the Runnymede Centre Chertsey Road, Addlestone Surrey. KT 15 2EP
