Strategic Review of the East Sussex Youth Development Service (YDS)

Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
From April 2008, local authorities have a duty to secure sufficient childcare for parents in their area who are in work, education or training for work. In preparation for this duty, a detailed assessment of the supply of, and demand for, childcare in East Sussex has taken place.
Common Assessment Framework and Contact Point
Helen Donelan from the information sharing and assessment team has pulled together some text explaining the background to the Common Assessment Framework, ContactPoint and a workforce analysis they are doing. The ISA team have also developed a 'find out' tool to help practitioners make decisions about whether they need Children Index/ContactPoint access and/or CAF training which would be particularly useful for the VCS.

Family Support Strategy Workshop
