Volunteer Development Officer

You may be familiar with the work of the East Sussex Volunteer Development Officer and the cross-county volunteering steering group that she works alongside. They are involved in activities which over the next 18 months they hope will raise the profile of volunteering in East Sussex and attract sustainable funding for the sector. Her update is availble on the link below. To do this they need your help. Back in May we asked all volunteer involving organisations to complete a tracking form to give us some basic information about volunteers in our area. To try to measure any changes or increase in volunteer numbers since then, we are asking all organisations to complete the same form again (please see attached) and return it by Friday October 19th either via email to countyvolunteering@eavs.org.uk or if preferred, via post to the address below.

How to Guides...

Action in Rural Sussex have developed four guides for organisations to assist them to develop good practise in the area of safeguarding and project start up.

They have kindly allowed us to display them on our website for your information.  Please also see www.ruralsussex.org.uk for more information on funding schemes that AiRS administer.
