ESCVYS Applauds Volunteers in East Sussex

As Prime Minister David Cameron launches his ‘Big Society’ drive across the UK, the East Sussex Council for Voluntary Youth Service (ESCVYS) applauds the thousands of volunteers who are already giving up their time, skills and expertise in East Sussex.
ESCVYS represents more than 130 voluntary and community youth groups in East Sussex, which are improving the lives of more than 18,000 children and young people across Lewes, Wealden, Eastbourne, Hastings and Rother every day.

Conference for the Faith Sector

After ESCVYS and the Diocese of Chichester conducted a piece of research identifying what the faith sector is providing for children and young people and families in East Sussex.  We would now like to invite all those in the faith sector to our LinkUp Conference 

Success for Polegate and Stone Cross Cricket Club

Polegate and Stone Cross Cricket Club are through to the semi-finals of the inter-sport of Lewes Plate Competition.  ESCVYS was pleased to be able to support the club through its small grants scheme.

 

 

Alternative Education Conference

The 14-19 team is holding 2 events in June to launch Personalised Foundation Learning (formerly Alternative Education) provision for Key Stage 4 young people at risk of exclusion, disengagement and becoming NEET.  The launch events will be taking place on the following dates:
